Position OverviewWe are seeking an initiative-driven, analytical individual to support the operations of an established advisory team. This role is critical to the client experience and requires superior detail orientation, a high degree of follow-through and organizational capability.
With direction from the Director of Operations, the Investment Operations Associate will be responsible for onboarding new investment business and servicing existing clients. Primary duties include expediting the onboarding process, addressing client service requests, and utilizing our proprietary financial planning software to input or update client information.
Key Responsibilities- New Client Onboarding: Partner with clients and internal team to prepare and submit all necessary paperwork to implement recommendations accurately and in a timely manner. Work to enhance operational efficiencies and improve existing workflows.
- Process Client Service Requests: Address all existing client service requests in a timely fashion, including trading and asset movement requests, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Update and maintain CRM with relevant client, task, and account information.
- Financial Planning Operations: Ensure client financial plans remain up to date, making necessary changes or modifications to client information through firm financial planning platforms and software.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients through email and phone correspondence, providing account updates as needed; ensure all necessary documentation and information are received in a timely fashion.
- Compliance and Continuing
Education:
Maintain and audit investment registrations in all states as needed, staying current with industry regulations; ensure adherence to compliance standards.

- Excellent prioritization abilities, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Takes initiative and demonstrates proactive problem-solving skills
- Manages autonomy well, but also able to collaborate with a team when necessary
- Committed to professional development and growth
- 1-3 years of prior financial services experience
- Series 7 and 63 licenses, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 – Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Experience with Microsoft CRM and/or NetX
360 preferred - Prior experience with both brokerage and advisory platforms a plus
