Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller

Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Base Pay Range: $75,000 - $85,000 per year (On-Track Earnings)

• Build and maintain accurate books, catching errors before they hit reports
• Deliver timely month‑end close and clear financial reports for leadership
• Manage cash flow, AR/AP, and ensure basic internal controls are effective
• Partner with operations and sales teams to translate financial data into clear insights
• Build simple, repeatable processes (checklists, SOPs, automations) for scaling
• Oversee and mentor a small team, ensuring financial workflows are documented and robust
• 5‑7+ years of professional accounting experience with 2‑3+ years in a leadership or management role
• Proven experience in multi‑entity or multi‑location accounting including creation and review of financial statements
• Specialized expertise in job costing, WIP reports, and gross profit tracking
• High proficiency in Quick Books Online and advanced Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to communicate financial data clearly to non‑accounting teams
• Process‑driven mindset with the ability to build and scale systems rather than just managing them
