Job Opportunities

The Village of Lombard is seeking a full-time Human Resources Specialist for the Human Resources Department. Essential duties will include:

Providing support and assistance to the Human Resources department;

Coordinating Human Resources programs and projects;

Interviewing, testing and assisting in hiring and orienting new personnel;

Maintaining personnel records;

Managing payroll for the Village.

The successful candidate will possess good communication and computer skills. The ability to work with the public and other departments/divisions in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related field;

3 years of progressively responsible Human Resources and payroll experience;

Word and Excel and data systems entry experience a plus;

Past experience working in a local governmental environment is desirable.
