Job Description:

This person is responsible for all tasks involved in extracting, transforming and loading data into the warehouse. The Ab Initio Developer will focus on designing and integrating the ETL components and resolving data centric issues and must be able to work under guidance of lead and assist in the data analysis efforts necessary to resolve the data issues encountered.

Individual (Ab Initio ETL Developer) in the category are expected to have experience working with ETL tools with RDBMS (DB2) environment. Ab Initio ETL Developer will support ETL processes and tools.

Responsibilities include:

• Implement AB Initio code using Source and target analysis into Ab Initio components and graphs
• Involve in the development of the ETL application
• Perform development of ETL application, including ensuring that system and integration test plans are developed and executed.
• Develop detailed ETL specifications based on business requirements.
• Develop and test the ETL application following all ETL standards and architecture.
• Assist in the design of the ETL application.

Required skills include:

• Good understanding & knowledge of UNIX
• Good understanding of Ab Initio Graphical Development Environment (GDE)
• Good understanding of Ab Initio Data Profiler
• Good understanding & knowledge of Ab Initio EME
• Basic understanding of Ab Initio Continuous Flows developing web services
• Good understanding & knowledge of Control – M Scheduler
