Location:
Lombard, IL
The Level 1 Desktop Support Analyst will join our growing team in Lombard to help support a variety of client projects.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to technical support tickets and assist in determining the nature of the technical issues, almost exclusively via remote access.
- Identify and assist in the resolution of hardware, software, and/or networking issues.
- Install new hardware systems, software upgrades, etc.
- Provide technical and/or operational training as needed.
- Document hardware configuration information, software configuration administration, network performance and network layouts.
- 1+ year of experience as a Desktop Support Analyst
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field or relevant experience
- Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
- Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization
- A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- LAN and WAN experience
- Network security experience a plus
