Pet Groomer

We are looking for a part-time groomer with the possibility of becoming a full-time professional groomer at Carriage Animal Hospital in Lombard, Illinois. This is a commission-based role and weekends are required. Carriage offers veterinary care, daycare, and boarding in addition to grooming. Carriage Animal Hospital is a growing, fast-paced small animal hospital with a large client base. Facilities include a walk-up grooming tub, walk-in shower area, wall-mounted high-velocity hand dryer, cage dryers, and a professional grooming table.

Shampoos and conditioner are provided. Groomers are required to bring their own accessories including clippers, blades, shears, bows, and bandannas.

  Thursday, Saturday;
  Sundays may be required

• Dog Grooming: 1 year (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of job-specific experience required; ability to independently build client relations, coordinate and deliver grooming services.

• Provide grooming services for pets in adherence with established policies and procedures to ensure safety and security of pets and clients.
• Maintain knowledge of grooming best practices, pricing, and marketing strategies.
• Build strong client relationships.
• Attend meetings as required for training.
• Independently coordinate and deliver grooming services with at least 1 year of job-specific experience.
