Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the check lanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to create a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target
• Know and speak to benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently and safely, in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; guide guests to enroll, activate and use these features
• Assist with returns following register prompts and escalate to Leaders as needed following Target policies
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and assist with removing unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-Up orders, and related duties in compliance with applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role where teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving are key
• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times)

• Effective communication with a welcoming and helpful attitude
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Willing to educate guests about products and services
• Ability to use handheld scanners and operate technology as directed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Accurate checkout operations and basic cash handling support
• Ability to scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance
• Mobility for the duration of a shift
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.)
