We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Representative specializing in flat rolled steel, with a primary focus on galvanized steel products across the Midwest market. The ideal candidate brings an established network of active galvanized steel accounts and a proven track record of growing territory market share.
Key Responsibilities

• Drive commercial growth across the Midwest territory by leveraging existing customer relationships in the flat rolled/galvanized steel sector.
• Identify, target, and onboard new industrial, manufacturing, and service center accounts.
• Manage the full sales cycle - from technical consultation and quoting to price negotiation and order closing.
• Partner with internal operations and supply chain teams to ensure product availability, quality assurance, and on-time delivery.
• Monitor regional market trends, competitor pricing, and raw material fluctuations to optimize margins.

• Experience:
  
  5+ years of direct sales experience in flat rolled steel, specifically hot-dipped galvanized, electrogalvanized, or related coated steel products.
• Industry Network:
  Must possess a strong, verifiable book of business and established customer following in the Midwest region.
• Market Knowledge:
  Deep understanding of steel service center operations, manufacturing applications, and current steel market dynamics.
• Skills:
  
  Strong negotiation, contract drafting, account management, and communication abilities.
• Mobility:
  Willingness to travel throughout the Midwest territory as required to visit clients and job sites.
