Plumbing Tech Lead

Pay: This role pays $35 – $60 per hour
, depending on experience.

Schedule: The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
, with rotating weekends and on-call availability. Overtime is available.

As a Plumbing Tech Lead, you will manage service calls and take the lead on projects. You will perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs, install, repair, or replace water lines, fixtures, and pumps, and troubleshoot steam, water, and gas systems. You will read blueprints to plan and carry out work, make sure all jobs follow safety standards, and assign tasks to apprentices and junior plumbers.

You will provide excellent service to customers and keep clear communication while helping the team improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ years of related experience directly related to the duties listed
• Valid Illinois Journeyman or Plumbing License
• Valid driver's license
• Strong understanding of state regulations and codes
• Ability to lead and train junior plumbers
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Working knowledge of steam, water, and natural gas systems
• Ability to read blueprints, estimate jobs, and plan materials
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on work safely
