. Provide personal financial services at designated military installations, assisting service members and families with comprehensive financial counseling.

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
• Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
• Develop and make available informational financial materials to service members and families.
• Coordinate, publicize, and provide a wide variety of Personal Financial Management classes/workshops, covering the military lifecycle (arrival at first duty station, pre‑ and post‑deployment, and personal and career events outlined in DoDI 1322.34).
• Respond to requests for age‑appropriate classes or seminars.
• Utilize virtual counseling or other electronic modes of communication (web‑based, secure online chat, video‑based communications, secure video teleconference) as authorized by the OSD FINRED Program office.
• Manage duty‑to‑warn situations according to Department of Defense (DoD) protocol.
• Communicate with leadership and participate in regular individual and group supervision, sharing information on trends and issues at the installation.
• Participate in regular in‑services/training, quality improvement committees or other contract activities as assigned or appropriate.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Associate degree plus 4 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree considered.
• High school diploma plus 6 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree considered.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish if required by the contract.
• Ability to obtain a favorable Tier 2 investigation.
• Must pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process.
• Must hold one of the following certifications:
  Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

Salary range: $53,125 – $84,995.
