F) role at Geo Control Systems. The role supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development For Enterprise Solutions (IRES) Contract.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight for a team of high performing, mission minded Linux and Windows system administrators.
• Serve as the program Subject Matter Expert (SME) for system administration subjects, including operating systems, hardware/software integration, virtualization, and containerization.
• Understand Windows and Linux operating systems to delegate tasks to the existing team in a fast-paced environment.
• Coordinate support with other internal program elements to provide and receive additional System Administrator support as needed.
• Work closely with engineers to provide high quality, innovative system administration services to the Government customer.
• Collaborate with system engineers to identify and define requirements for new systems or modifications, and develop designs, implement, and test solutions.
• Ensure daily system monitoring, backup/restore, and application upgrades to maintain optimal operations.
• Perform system software installations, maintenance, break/fix activities, and cyber security mitigation in accordance with policies, procedures, and SLAs.
• Coordinate with hardware and software vendors and participate in vendor-required activities (e.g., quarterly infrastructure reviews).
• Assist in Systems Administrator tasks as required by the mission.
• Develop and maintain system administration plans, procedures, processes, and baseline configuration documentation.
• Create training plans to develop and mentor System Administrators.
• Maintain excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate effective interactions with team members and stakeholders.

• 6 or more years of direct/specialized experience in a computer operations environment performing systems administration of both Windows and Linux systems.
• 3 years of leadership/management experience.
• Experience working with virtual environments.
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Security+ or equivalent).
• Current DoD Secret security clearance.

• Experience leading and managing technical teams.
• Experience administering Red Hat Linux with IdM Servers.
• Experience managing Windows Active Directory and Group Policy Objects.
• Experience conducting log analysis to assess root cause analysis.
• Comprehensive knowledge of virtualization infrastructure.
• DoD networking experience with classified data networks and a strong grasp of red/black concepts and IA compliance.

This position is expected to pay $132,000 - $156,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and any certifications directly related to the position.
