Salary Range: $26.00 – $42.13 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general direction and oversight of electrical plans during planning and development of new or renovated plant and lift station projects.
  • Perform all project electrical work including installation, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, outlets, switches, wiring, motors, motor controls, instrumentation, SCADA hardware, start‑up testing, control panel maintenance, and power tools.
  • Communicate effectively with project personnel and external entities to ensure operational reliability and environmental compliance.
  • Conduct duties safely and efficiently, following company Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies; report unsafe conditions.
  • Participate in safety programs:
    Respiratory Program;
    Lock‑out Tag‑out Program;
    Bloodborne Pathogen Program;
    Chlorine Safety Program;
    Confine Space Program;
    Fall Protection & Climbing Safety Program;
    Hazard Communication Program;
    Hearing Conservation Program;
    Hot Works Program;
    Pipe Plug Safety Program; PPE Safety Program; SPPC Program.
Required Knowledge & Skills
  • Proficiency with precision electrical tools and instruments (test equipment, thermo‑graphic analysis, vibration equipment).
  • Skill with hand and power tools.
  • Written & verbal communication to all stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical tasks for water distribution and wastewater collection systems; ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and ladder logic drawings.
  • Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA codes and basic computer software (RSLogix, RS Link)
  • Experience with SCADA and wiring instruments.
Experience & Education
  • High School diploma, GED, or related experience.
  • 3–5 years as an electrician working with 480‑V electrical systems.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Licensed electrician preferred but not required.
Work Environment
  • Outdoor/indoor conditions, temperature extremes, walking, kneeling, standing, lifting up to 75 lb.
  • Involvement with mowing and weed‑eating equipment.
