Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Intermediate to Senior Accountant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and experience working in public practice or a similar environment.

The role involves key responsibilities related to accounting and client communication.

• Prepare financial statements, working papers, and supporting documentation
• Perform year-end and month-end accounting procedures
• Prepare personal and corporate tax returns using Profile
• Reconcile accounts, review ledgers, and identify discrepancies
• Support bookkeeping and data entry for client accounts
• Communicate with clients and respond to inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Assist with CRA correspondence and submissions
• Collaborate with senior staff on tax planning, review files, and meet deadlines

• CPA designation or currently enrolled in the CPA program
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Advanced proficiency in Quick Books, Sage, Caseware, Excel, and Profile
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and workflow
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong accounting knowledge
• Experience in public practice or a similar environment

• Experience with tax planning
• Ability to collaborate with senior staff
