POSITION SCOPEJAN-PRO is looking for a self-motivated individual to work as our Bookkeeper/Accounting Manager. Reporting to the President, the successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, focused on accuracy and the ability to routinely execute a high volume of tasks. You have at least 3-5 years experience in full cycle bookkeeping, have a recognized accreditation in your field and experience in Odoo or a similar ERP system.

- Manages all accounting functions including maintenance of the general ledger, full cycle bookkeeping
- Maintains and controls daily cash collection and accounts receivables reporting systems and works in conjunction with the Office Manager on possible collection actions
- Ensures all Federal/Provincial requirements are met including payroll withholding payments (CPP,EI), Income Tax, HST, Employer Heath Tax, Workers Compensation, ROE, etc.
- Completes account reconciliations, trial balance of books, and support of month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet. Works in conjunction with external Accountant
- Assists in all areas of accurate and timely data entries of customer and Franchisee transactions
- Coordinates and communicates with Office Manager and regional Director/Master Owner in the identification of customers that are in neglect of payment, following policies and procedures to facilitate collection through legal action, if necessary
- Maintains inventory control and needs within all areas of the office
- Supports the Regional Director/Master Owner in generation of business correspondence for Franchise Owners and/or potential Franchise prospects
- Manages loans & Franchisee account reconciliations
- Manages daily cheque deposits through Remote Deposit Capture
- Performs other related tasks and activities as assigned
- 3-5 years performing in bookkeeping in an ERP system, preferably Odoo.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

- Excellent knowledge of Odoo or similar ERP system, Quick Books and MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proficient in the use of the Internet
- Ability to take detailed and accurate notes and messages
- Ability to document detailed and accurate prospect and client information in electronic database
- Ability to function in high-pressure situations
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other electronic devices
- Ability to take legible hand-written notes where necessary
- Correctable vision and hearing
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Clear, easy to understand oral communication ability
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
