Responsibilities
- Process employee hires, changes, and terminations for hourly employees.
- Process employee timesheets and adjustments, and run payroll.
- Prepare monthly union reporting and related payments.
- Perform payroll accounting functions, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Assist with year‑end reporting processes.
- Respond to inquiries from employees and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with other payroll functions as required.
- 3+ years of payroll experience in a unionized environment.
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification.
- Experience with Workday is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret collective bargaining agreements and determine related payroll requirements.
- Ability to research payroll compliance matters.
- Well‑organized, detail‑oriented, able to work as part of a team in a dynamic fast‑paced environment.
- Must be able to work in‑office located in London, ON.
Salary range: $56,000 - $65,000.
