Controller Middlesex Community Housing

Lead financial operations at London & Middlesex Community Housing as a Controller. Oversee accounting, reporting, and team performance in a supportive environment.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services, the Controller is integral to managing financial oversight and compliance. This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to drive improvements in financial systems. You will manage daily operations, ensure financial data integrity, and oversee audits to meet regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily accounting operations and financial reporting

• Manage team performance through mentorship and leadership

• Support audit preparation and compliance initiatives

• Oversee financial systems and drive optimization

• Strengthen internal controls and financial policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related

• CPA designation or active enrollment in CPA PEP

• Minimum 5 years of financial management experience

• Knowledge of Canadian GAAP/PSAS is essential

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Yardi
