Senior Trust Accounting Analyst Waterloo

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Join Manulife's team in Waterloo as a Senior Analyst, Trust Accounting & Controls with a hybrid work arrangement. You'll manage cash movements, perform reconciliations, and ensure compliance with internal controls.

The Senior Analyst will oversee accurate cash movement and internal controls for Mutual Fund Trust cash and GRS stock plan products. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Fund Accounting. Key skills include analytical problem-solving and proficiency in advanced Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations

• Execute monthly dividend and asset reconciliations for Stock Plans

• Monitor and clear suspense accounts, resolving identified issues

• Communicate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting discrepancies

• Prepare detailed journal entries and support funding processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum 3 years in Fund Accounting or accounting firms

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel

• Knowledge of Retail Wealth Management products preferred
