Position: Experienced Controller for J-AAR Team
Join J-AAR as an Experienced Controller, where your financial expertise will support our construction projects across Canada. Focus on compliance, financial statements, and strategic guidance on accounting practices.

This role, reporting to the VP Finance, involves overseeing accurate financial processes across multiple entities. You will partner with project managers and leaders to analyze project results and improve operational efficiencies. Ideal candidates will have a CPA and robust experience in project-based accounting within construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end accounting for J-AAR companies

• Validate financial results and ensure internal controls

• Act as a financial partner to project teams

• Prepare accurate quarterly financial statements

• Lead year-end audit process and compliance filings

Requirements:

• CPA designation essential

• 5+ years of professional accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of ASPE and related practices

• Excellent communication and cross-functional skills

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP tools
