The Manufacturing Cost Accountant plays a key role in managing manufacturing costs, job costing, and inventory valuation. With a focus on financial reporting and compliance with GAAP, the ideal candidate should bring extensive manufacturing accounting expertise, especially in metal fabrication and industrial manufacturing. This position also supports accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage standard costing systems

• Analyze labor and overhead costs effectively

• Review and reconcile work-in-process accounts

• Develop product and job cost estimates

• Prepare monthly performance reports for manufacturing

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• CPA designation required or actively pursuing

• 5+ years of accounting experience required

• 3+ years in manufacturing cost accounting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
