Credit Control and Invoicing Clerk

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Join Symbol Family Support Services as a Credit Control and Invoicing Clerk, specializing in managing invoices and credit activities. This role combines financial oversight with client interaction and deadline management.

In this key position, you’ll handle invoicing for various services, including Respite and Supported Living, while ensuring that all financial data is accurately recorded. Excellent organizational skills will help you effectively manage debt recovery and collaborate with both clients and service managers to resolve inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process sales invoices for local authority funders

• Work with Service Managers to ensure accurate client info

• Perform daily credit control and follow up on overdue accounts

• Reconcile bank transactions each week

• Handle petty cash with precision and accuracy

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Credit Control

• Strong communication skills, verbally and in writing

• Basic proficiency in Xero or equivalent software

• Intermediate skills in MS Excel and Office

• Ability to manage time and meet accounting deadlines
