Join DAVWIRE as a Plant Accounting Specialist, specializing in financial reporting and cost management within a manufacturing setting. This hands-on role is critical for operational support and budget preparation.

In this position, you will be responsible for the organization’s financial records and accounting activities. You'll ensure compliance with financial regulations while closely managing accounting functions such as journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting audits. Collaborating with management, your role will also involve providing insightful financial analysis to drive operational efficiency and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and oversee general ledger accuracy

• Manage cash flow and working capital effectively

• Support preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts

• Provide financial support for manufacturing KPIs and risk management

• Ensure compliance with tax standards and filings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience in manufacturing

• Strong understanding of cost accounting and financial analysis

• Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems and manual accounting

• Must have proof of Canadian residency or citizenship
