Project Coordinator for Residence Facilities

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Enhance residence life at the University of Waterloo as a Project Coordinator. This full-time, temporary role focuses on managing facilities improvement projects while coordinating effectively with various stakeholders.

As a Residence Facilities Project Coordinator, you will support capital improvement initiatives, collaborate with clients, gather vital information, and manage projects from conception to completion.

Your role will include estimating budgets, scheduling project activities, and ensuring successful implementation within deadlines. You’ll work closely with designers, vendors, and different university departments to drive the efficient execution of all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project activities from planning to execution

• Support with project documentation and status reporting

• Assist in furniture and equipment management

• Analyze building conditions and propose renewal strategies

• Manage stakeholder communication and meeting logistics

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in architecture or engineering

• Over 1 year of relevant project management experience

• Proficient in MS Office and project management tools

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Valid G license and clear vulnerable sector check
