This role focuses on registering patients into the Cerner system, ensuring precision and accuracy in record-keeping. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of recent Emergency Unit Clerk experience and understand the importance of providing exceptional customer service at this facility. Your capacity to work under pressure while managing various tasks will contribute significantly to patient care and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Register emergency patients and maintain the Cerner database

• Manage patient flow for admissions, discharges, and transfers

• Provide clear communication with patients and healthcare staff

• Stay organized and efficient amidst interruptions

• Follow required procedures in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Medical Office Assistant or Health Care Office Assistant course completion

• One year of Emergency Unit Clerk experience within the last three years

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and general office practices

• Advanced skills with Cerner, LaunchPoint, and Microsoft Office

• Commitment to regular attendance in line with hospital policies
