Become the key point of contact for vendor relations at Canada Life. This role focuses on managing contracts, resolving issues, and ensuring optimal vendor performance in London or Winnipeg.
As a Vendor Relationship Specialist, you will act as the primary liaison with external vendors. Your responsibilities include resolving invoicing problems, addressing client complaints, and overseeing vendor performance. You will collaborate closely with both business areas and vendors to maintain effective partnerships while ensuring compliance with service agreements and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build long-term relationships with targeted vendors
• Resolve escalated vendor issues effectively
• Lead monthly and quarterly governance meetings
• Monitor service delivery and vendor KPIs
• Provide administrative support for vendor-related inquiries
Requirements:
• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage relationships across all management levels
• Proficiency in vendor management software
• Reliability Status Security Clearance required
