Underground Construction Coordinator

Position: Underground Construction Coordinator Role
Enhance project execution as an Underground Construction Coordinator for a crucial client project in Goderich. This individual contributor role focuses on safety, quality, and effective project management throughout construction.

In this pivotal role, you'll provide support to the Construction Manager by coordinating construction activities and monitoring field conditions. Your responsibilities will include conducting site audits, reviewing construction methodologies, and ensuring compliance with safety plans. You will work closely with peers in the Project Team to deliver on the objectives set by the Construction Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend daily contractor lineups to communicate key updates

• Conduct daily site visits to review progress and safety

• Audit compliance with contractor-provided safety plans

• Facilitate weekly Workplace Audits/Safety Inspections

• Communicate surface issues impacting project execution

Requirements:

• Experience in construction management or related field

• Strong safety oversight and coordination skills

• Ability to implement best practices from past projects

• Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities

• Flexibility for a 7/7 or 14/14 rotation
