Experienced Asphalt Milling Machine Operator

Location: Southwestern Ontario

We are looking for an experienced Milling Machine Operator at Miller to enhance road construction efforts by operating and controlling milling equipment in a safe manner. Join a team focused on quality and efficiency.

In this role, you will ensure the Milling Machine is operating at proper depths and slopes, and oversee its maintenance. Responsibilities include measuring milled areas and collaborating with General Contractors for job efficiency. You should be prepared for physical outdoor work and assist team members when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate milling equipment with safety as a priority

• Perform preventative maintenance and keep logs

• Ensure cleanliness of machinery

• Work hand-in-hand with General Contractors

• Assist crew members with tasks as necessary

Requirements:

• Previous experience in road construction preferred

• Class 5 driver’s license required

• AZ license is a bonus

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Must be willing to travel and possibly work weekends
