Steel Stud Framer On-Site Position

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Join the construction field as a Steel Stud Framer, focusing on renovation projects across various locations. This physically demanding role requires strong skills in measuring, cutting, and assembly of materials.

This position entails hands-on experience in foundation building, floor beam installation, and wall erecting. We seek candidates with 1 to 7 months of experience eager to travel and work outdoors. Applicants should also possess or be ready to earn a WHMIS Certificate and Fall Arrest Protection Training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and shape materials, including lightweight steel

• Build foundations and install floor beams for structures

• Lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

• Follow safety protocols in physically demanding environments

• Manage tight deadlines on construction sites

Requirements:

• No formal degree required

• 1 to 7 months relevant experience

• Willingness to travel regularly for work

• Own safety equipment: steel-toed boots, hard hat

• Strong physical capability for demanding tasks
