Erosion Control Expert at NRSI Waterloo

Natural Resource Solutions Inc. is hiring an Erosion Control Expert in Waterloo, Ontario. Join us to monitor and enforce sediment control practices on active construction sites.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction activities comply with environmental regulations. You'll conduct site inspections and document hazards, contributing to the protection of sensitive ecosystems. Your work will involve collaboration with construction teams and environmental consultants to promote safe and durable environmental practices in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections during construction for compliance

• Confirm adherence to approved ESC and Environmental Management Plans

• Identify and coordinate responses to environmental issues

• Maintain accurate records and photographic evidence of inspections

• Facilitate environmental training for site personnel

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of monitoring experience

• Degree or diploma in Environmental Science or related discipline

• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions

• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle access

• Strong analytical and communication skills
