Position: GHD Senior Inspector for Construction Projects
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Become a Senior Quality Assurance Inspector with GHD in the Greater Toronto Area, focusing on highway, road, and bridge projects. Operate under a flexible hybrid model while ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

This position, based in offices like Markham and Mississauga, involves conducting inspections, overseeing contractor compliance, and documenting project progress meticulously. You will also mentor junior staff and provide operational support, making a significant impact on project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily inspections on construction projects

• Document project compliance effectively

• Mentor and support junior inspectors in skills development

• Propose solutions for project non-conformances

• Monitor contractor work to meet specifications

Requirements:

• Five or more years of relevant experience in construction

• Required OACETT RCSI or PEO EIT designation

• Expertise in roadway grading, asphalt, and concrete

• Effective teamwork and information sharing skills

• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence
