Position: Quantity Surveyor for Energy Projects
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Join a growing construction energy company in Basildon, Essex, as a Quantity Surveyor. This full-time role focuses on the commercial management of major infrastructure and energy projects.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be integral to the commercial management of multiple projects while liaising with senior teams. Your responsibilities will include monitoring budgets, managing costs, and facilitating procurement processes. Candidates with experience in utilities, civil engineering, and strong commercial awareness are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor budgets, costs, and project financial performance

• Maintain accurate commercial records and cost reports

• Assist with client applications and subcontractor valuations

• Prepare variations, change events, and quotations

• Support contract administration and final accounts management

Requirements:

• Experience in construction or energy-related projects

• Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset

• Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to manage multiple work streams effectively

• Knowledge of ICPs and DNOs is a plus
