In the rapidly evolving construction industry, this role is pivotal for enhancing workplace safety. You will be responsible for conducting safety inspections, organizing training programs like WHMIS and CPR/First Aid, and monitoring on-site compliance. Your proactive approach will help prevent hazardous situations, ensuring that employees and subcontractors adhere to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct safety orientations and job site inspections
• Organize and deliver safety training programs
• Monitor on-site compliance with safety procedures
• Identify and rectify hazardous situations proactively
• Delegate responsibilities and influence adherence to safety rules
Requirements:
• 2-4 years of construction safety management experience
• Certification under Occupational Health & Safety Act preferred
• Valid driver's license with willingness to travel
• Experience with COR process certification is a plus
• College degree or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety beneficial
Ensure health and safety compliance, manage risks, and promote a safe work environment in leading construction projects.
