Our client seeks a passionate HSE Coordinator to enforce health and safety standards within their civil construction projects. The role involves close collaboration with project managers and teams to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices. You will promote a strong safety culture, conduct inspections, and provide training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote safety culture with coaching for project teams
• Conduct site inspections and hazard assessments
• Assist in developing safety and environmental programs
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
Requirements:
• 1-4 years of HSE experience in construction
• Diploma or degree in relevant field preferred
• Knowledge of Ontario's OHSA regulations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and travel readiness
