As a Construction Safety Trainer, you will report to the Training Manager and be integral in developing and delivering training programs aligned with the SMR-X project for Ontario Power Generation. Key functions include identifying training needs, documenting employee progress, and contributing to the positive safety culture through active engagement and skill development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Train employees on safety programs like Work at Heights and First Aid
• Track and document training progress for accuracy
• Provide management feedback on training effectiveness
• Collaborate on creating new training materials and courses
• Support safety management plans and conduct site inspections
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years in health and safety training
• Knowledge of provincial OHS legislation
• Experience with adult learning principles
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders
