Finance Client Services Switchboard Operator

Become the first point of contact for clients as a Switchboard Operator in Finance Client Services at J.D. Irving, Limited. Deliver professional call handling and efficient communication support daily.

This role involves supporting Finance Shared Services by ensuring inquiries are responded to promptly and efficiently. You will provide first-level support, monitor calls, and assist with troubleshooting while maintaining accurate documentation. Strong verbal communication and organizational skills are key to succeeding in this client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer and direct incoming calls professionally

• Provide first-level support for Finance inquiries

• Monitor shared inboxes and triage inquiries

• Document calls and service requests accurately

• Identify trends and contribute to process improvements

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in business administration preferred

• Experience in customer service or call centre role

• Strong verbal communication and listening skills

• Ability to manage high call volumes with attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
