Note: This is located at 1001 Fanshawe College Blvd, London, ON N5Y 5R6. Fanshawe College is seeking qualified professionals to teach in the School of Community Studies.
Reporting to the Program Manager from the School of Community Studies, part‑time Professors at Fanshawe College are responsible for providing academic leadership and for developing an effective learning environment for students. Availability for in‑person on‑campus delivery is required, and successful candidates will be required to perform work within Ontario.

- Relevant Bachelor’s degree required (e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Community Development, Early Childhood Leadership, Family Studies and Human Development, etc.)
- Diploma in Human Services an asset
- Minimum 5 years’ recent and relevant work experience
- Previous post‑secondary teaching experience (hybrid and/or online delivery) and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets
- Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree in a related discipline as well as consideration will be given to applicants who are currently enrolled in a Master’s program
- For ECE and ECL programs – Registered member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (or equivalent) is required for ECE
- Ability to teach face to face and provide availability to teach during the day and evenings
- Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners from different backgrounds
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with various technologies
- Related industry work experience
