High School Math & Science Teacher/Tutor
Oxford Learning Paris is seeking part‑time teacher‑tutors for a role in our learning centre. This position is ideal for anyone who loves working with students, enjoys numbers and equations, and is passionate about helping others build their skills in math and science.
Tutor‑teachers at Oxford Learning do not have to lesson plan before class, as all lessons are pre‑planned. Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods.

Schedule
:
Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm – 8:00 pm (evenings), with a preference for continued service through June and into the summer.
This role is in‑person. Applicants must be able to commute to the location. Relocation packages are not available. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.
Position RequirementsAll teacher‑tutors work during after‑school and evening hours. A commitment until the end of the term in June is preferred. Continuing through the summer is even better.
Education- Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field
- Fourth‑year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
- Teaching certification an asset
- Good knowledge of the current Grades 9‑12 math and science curriculum, particularly senior math (Advanced Functions, Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Vectors) and science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
- Some experience teaching/tutoring math at a Grade 9‑12 level
- Strong English written and oral communication skills
- Strong math skills and ability to guide students’ understanding
- Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
- Teaching up to three students at a time at different levels
- Teaching in‑person
- Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
- Filling in post‑lesson notes
- Completing daily student communication updates
- Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
