Position: Full-Time Bio Medical Science Lab Instructor
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Take on a full-time Lab Instructor position at the University of Waterloo’s Bio Medical Science Program, focusing on hands-on lab instruction and curriculum development. This role invites those passionate about biological sciences to make a difference.

You will be responsible for creating engaging laboratory experiences in courses like BIOL 130L and BIOL 240L. As an expert in anatomy, your guidance will foster a rich learning environment while you mentor Teaching Assistants and ensure the safety of lab settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and oversee laboratory courses for Bio Medical Science

• Design and maintain assessment materials for students

• Monitor and manage lab safety protocols

• Guide and train Teaching Assistants on lab procedures

• Keep laboratory equipment fully operational and updated

Requirements:

• PhD in Biology is essential

• Minimum two years of relevant teaching experience

• Familiarity with anatomy and the latest biological techniques

• Adherence to safety and health protocols

• Strong communication and leadership abilities
