Upper Canada Child Care is looking for a dedicated Temporary Assistant Educator for 18 months. In this full-time split shift role, engaging with children and maintaining operational standards is key. Candidates will need expertise in play-based learning, effective communication, and developmental support for children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement province’s educational guidelines in program delivery
• Participate in mandatory training and staff meetings
• Engage with children to provide a positive learning experience
• Communicate with parents about children's progress
• Document and report on daily activities and child development
Requirements:
• Health assessment and immunization records
• Current CPR-C and First Aid certifications
• Knowledge of child developmental needs and program design
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage physical demands of supervising children
