Interactive Math and Science Teacher-Tutor

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Contribute to student success at Oxford Learning Paris as a part-time teacher-tutor for math and science subjects. Engage with learners in an interactive, supportive environment.

Utilizing pre-planned lessons, you will coach students through challenging material, helping enhance their understanding of various topics in math and science. This role requires you to work evenings, providing a consistent support system for students striving to improve their skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and support three students across different levels at once

• Complete daily student communication updates

• Embrace Oxford Learning’s teaching methodologies

• Maintain professionalism and encourage student interaction

• Document student progress after each session

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or certification

• Demonstrated tutoring experience in Grades 9-12

• Articulate English communication skills

• Understanding of current curriculum in math and science

• Reliability for Monday to Thursday evening sessions
