Lead AI Literacy and Training Initiatives

Lead AI literacy initiatives at the University of Waterloo as the AI Literacy and Training Lead. Design impactful training to help staff use AI tools responsibly and effectively.

In this full-time role, you will oversee the training and enablement strategies for AI systems within the Information Systems and Technology department. You'll work closely with diverse stakeholders to tailor educational materials that cater to varying levels of user readiness in AI. Your efforts will enhance the university’s AI capabilities through structured learning pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engaging AI literacy programs and workshops

• Design comprehensive guidance materials for users

• Support onboarding for emerging AI technologies

• Improve training resources based on participant feedback

• Facilitate collaboration events at the AI Discovery Lab

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline

• Experience in designing and delivering educational programs

• Ability to clarify technical topics for varied audiences

• Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications

• Effective communication and facilitation talents
