Role Description

The Manager, Dentistry Education is a full-time, on-site role based in the London, Canada Metropolitan Area. This position oversees the planning, development, and implementation of educational programs within the dentistry faculty, ensuring curricula align with academic standards, accreditation requirements, and evolving professional practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with faculty members and academic leaders to design and update courses, coordinating training initiatives for instructors and learners, and monitoring program effectiveness through assessments and feedback.

The role also involves supporting teaching innovation, organizing educational workshops and coaching sessions, managing documentation and scheduling, and contributing to strategic planning for dentistry education. The Manager, Dentistry Education works closely with administrative and academic teams to maintain a high-quality learning environment and enhance student success.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in Education and Curriculum Development, with experience designing, implementing, and evaluating academic or professional programs in dentistry or related health fields.
  • Strong Training and Coaching skills to support faculty, instructors, and learners through workshops, seminars, and one-on-one guidance.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Education, Dentistry, Health Sciences, or a related discipline; advanced degree or specialization in dental education is an asset.
  • Experience in academic administration or program management, including planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of educational offerings.
  • Proven organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with accreditation standards, assessment methods, and best practices in competency-based or outcomes-based education.
  • Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic community.
