Why this Role is Important  Fanshawe College is pleased to announce the establishment of the Norton Wolf School of Aerospace, Information, and Defence Technologies, a newly organized and strategically focused school that brings together several of the College's fastest growing and most innovative program areas. The College is now seeking an exceptional leader to guide the school through its next phase of growth and impact.

Positioned at the intersection of advanced technology, applied research, workforce development, and industry partnership, the school delivers a diverse portfolio of programs spanning Aircraft Maintenance, Commercial Flight, Computer Science, Network and Systems Administration, Cybersecurity, Autonomous Systems, Data Analytics, and related disciplines. The successful candidate will champion interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation while fostering excellence in teaching, learning, student success, and industry engagement.

Fanshawe seeks a visionary and accomplished leader with a demonstrated record of success in academic administration, operational leadership, and strategic partnership development. How You’ll Make an Impact  Provides Academic Leadership
Provides recommendations to the Dean on the school’s strategic plan, goals and objectives
Works collaboratively in the development and implementation of the school’s/faculty’s strategic plan as part of the College’s academic planning process
Contributes to the academic well-being of the College through competent planning and administration of the School’s programs and services
Initiates, facilitates and actively participates in the development and implementation of new academic programs, leading the advancement of the new academic programs’ approval through the College’s stage-gate process, and the ongoing review of existing programs in response to changing economic and market pressures, changing technology and employment opportunities according to business/industry/field standards and College/Ministry guidelines
Ensures that the objectives of the school/faculty are attained through effective supervision of the teaching and learning processes including the provision of appropriate learning resources and maintenance of close contacts with the external community, advisory committee and other educational institutions
