Course

Description:

The course will introduce the concept of appropriate technology in the context of international development to students. It will examine the application of technologies to critical human needs in development, such as housing, transportation, provision of safe water and sanitation, waste management, and as energy. Extra Information: 3 lecture hours, 2 tutorial hours.

You will be responsible for all activities associated with the successful delivery of the course, including but not limited to:

• developing, preparing, and delivering the course
• setting and marking examinations
• assessing the academic work of students
• reporting grades

Candidates must be willing to undertake training as required by the Employer including, but not limited to, training in respect of health and safety, harassment and discrimination, and legislated service standards.

Candidates must have qualifications appropriate to the course(s) for which application is being made and a demonstrated record of performance in teaching.
