This on-call position offers the chance to work with an experienced team of RECEs and Educational Assistants, contributing to a nurturing and inclusive environment for children aged 0-6. You will embody the center’s mission by implementing a curriculum that honors Indigenous cultures and fosters strong community connections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Bring early childhood education to life through emergent curriculum
• Collaborate with educators to implement innovative teaching strategies
• Develop respectful connections with families and partners
• Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
• Keep current on best practices in early childhood education
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education
• Registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators
• At least 2 years in early childhood education
• Familiarity with Indigenous histories and languages
• Dedication to inclusive practices and community engagement
