Language Trainers is hiring a part-time ESOL instructor in St. Thomas, ON, to teach Spanish-speaking beginners English. Deliver tailored lessons aimed at enhancing communication skills in the local community.
This freelance role offers 30 hours of instruction spread over 15 sessions, focusing on the specific needs of adult learners. You will work with students who require English for integration into their workplaces and everyday life, providing classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 2pm, fostering a nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead 2-hour English lessons for beginners
• Tailor lesson content to meet adult learners’ needs
• Facilitate students’ integration into English-speaking situations
• Track and evaluate student language development
• Create an engaging and interactive learning space
Requirements:
• Native English speaker or relevant teaching qualification
• Background in teaching, translation, or interpretation
• Valid work authorization and local residence
• Flexibility in scheduling lessons
• Willingness to engage in freelance, part-time work
