Your role will focus on environmental monitoring and daily construction inspections.
As an Environmental Monitor at Canacre, you'll bring 5-7 years of experience to oversee environmental practices in energy development. This position requires a proactive approach to wildlife monitoring and erosion control, along with effective communication with construction personnel. Collaborate closely with teams to advocate for environmental integrity on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily inspections of construction activities
• Monitor wildlife and implement mitigation measures
• Direct soil handling activities for compliance
• Provide recommendations for erosion and sediment control
• Complete environmental compliance reports
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in a relevant field
• 5-7 years of experience in environmental roles
• Experience with wildlife monitoring and renewables is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid Driver's License and insurance compliance
