Reporting to the Sr. Quality Manager, the Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for continually improving Trojan’s customer experience by driving continuous improvement efforts in the areas of product, process and service quality. This role will serve as the functional QA lead within our Industrial Aquafine UV business, located at our London, Ontario campus.
In this role, a typical day will involve:
- Applying a strong understanding of quality philosophies, systems, standards, and tools to support product, process, and service quality.
- Partnering with cross‑functional teams to influence and support the development, documentation, and implementation of quality management systems.
- Planning and conducting internal and external audits to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Developing and implementing quality programs, including tracking performance, analyzing data, reporting results, and leading problem‑solving efforts.
- Supporting product quality across design, manufacturing, and construction by ensuring requirements and specifications are clearly understood and met.
- Applying foundational knowledge of reliability, maintainability, and risk management to assess and mitigate potential quality risks.
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data using standard quantitative methods to drive process analysis and improvement initiativesli>
- Utilizing advanced problem‑solving and quality improvement tools to address issues and prevent recurrence.
- Collaborating with suppliers to qualify new designs and continuously improve supplier quality and performance.

- Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, or a relevant technology‑level diploma. Experience with electrical and/or electronics commodities is preferred but not required.
- Additional language skills are considered a plus.
- ASQ certifications are an asset.
- ISO auditor accreditation or internal auditing experience is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including experience with statistical analysis in manufacturing environments.
- Advanced understanding of Lean principles.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and quality tools such as Six Sigma.
- Proven ability to facilitate, train, and lead cross‑functional teams.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Intermediate project management skills.
- Willingness to travel globally on an intermittent basis, up to 15%. Valid G driver’s license required.
