We design and manufacture advanced automated systems and engineered solutions for clients across pharmaceutical, aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. With the recent acquisition of Adescor, we are entering an exciting growth phase focused on next‑generation product development and commercialization.

Role Overview

The Technical Development Manager provides cross‑disciplinary leadership across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams. This role leads full product development cycles—from concept and prototyping to testing, validation, and commercialization—while shaping engineering capability and technical direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering.
  • Lead the development of integrated automation equipment and mechatronic systems.
  • Own system architecture, design decisions, and engineering documentation.
  • Manage full product lifecycle from concept to commercialization.
  • Guide technical roadmaps, requirements, and engineering processes.
  • Lead design reviews, DFMEA/PFMEA, testing protocols, and change control.
  • Manage external contractors, design firms, and technical vendors.
  • Mentor engineering staff and build a high‑performance team culture.
  • Ensure compliance with CSA, UL, CE, and other regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Background in automation, industrial machinery, or mechatronic systems.
  • Proficiency with Solid Works, PDM, PLC systems (Beckhoff, Allen‑Bradley).
  • Strong conceptual understanding of software architecture and logic.
  • Strong project management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
