Lead Power Electronics Engineer

Swish Solar builds self-cleaning solar technology that keeps panels sand and snow free to increase energy yield and reduce maintenance. Our retrofittable film actively removes debris without water or moving parts.

We’renow productizing the Power & Control Unit (PCU) that powers and controls the system for real-world deployment.

We’rehiring aLead Power Electronics Engineer to own the PCU hardware from requirements to pilot-ready builds.

You’lllead design decisions, build and test prototypes, and drive reliability and manufacturability improvements.

You’llwork directly with the CTO and collaborate across testing, mechanical, and materials to deliver systems that perform in the field.

• Design and iterate PCBs; lead bring-up, debugging, and validation testing.
• Drive reliability and safety-focused design practices and test plans.
• Improve cost and manufacturability; prepare documentation for builds and suppliers.
• Support field pilots with diagnostics/logging and rapid iteration based on test results.
• Coordinate with vendors/partners as needed for parts, builds, and pilot runs.

• Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience designing and building electronics/PCBs end-to-end (not just theory).
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills and comfort working in a lab setting.
• Ability to lead projects in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and make goodtradeoffs.
• Clear communication and documentation habits (specs, test plans, change logs).
