Power Systems Engineer Intern
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Responsibilities- Develop and conduct computer modeling and analysis for transmission & distribution planning studies.
- Perform network‑wide steady‑state and short‑circuit studies.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts, including development of Python scripts.
- Report to an experienced Transmission Manager and be exposed to exciting projects building valuable industry knowledge.
- Completion of, or current enrollment in, a graduate degree program (Master’s or PhD) with a major in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university.
- Completion of, or current enrollment in, power systems fundamentals class(es) (strongly preferred).
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Location: Waterloo, ON, Canada (remote when classes are in session).
Length: Long‑Term Internship (up to 12 months).
